TenvioCloud Docs Overview

Technical documentation for ERP portal admins configuring TenvioCloud customer, vendor, and RMA portals.

Platform Architecture

TenvioCloud sits between your ERP and external users as a secure portal layer. ERP remains the system of record while TenvioCloud handles authentication, role-based access, page rendering, workflow automation, and audit trails. Most teams start with read-only data for orders, invoices, and purchase orders, then add approved write-back flows such as RMA requests and PO acknowledgments.

Recommended Implementation Phases

Run implementation in four phases: data mapping, access policy setup, workflow enablement, and production launch. During data mapping, define object-level ownership such as customer account, ship-to, vendor number, and buyer IDs. During access setup, enforce row-level rules before inviting pilot users. Only after usage validation should you enable write-backs and notifications for broader deployment.

Environment and Release Strategy

Use separate staging and production portal environments. Keep data connectors, field mappings, and role rules in versioned change tickets. Validate every change with test accounts that mirror real customer and vendor personas. This prevents accidental permission drift and reduces production incidents during ERP upgrades or connector maintenance windows.

Operational Checklist

Before go-live, verify SSO or password policy settings, run portal access tests for each role, confirm outbound ERP sync jobs, and document escalation owners for support and integration issues. After launch, monitor sync latency, failed write-backs, and most-used pages to identify where self-service is reducing email and phone traffic.
